Head of Investor Capital and Relations – Middle East

About the role

As Head of Investor Capital and Relations for the Middle East, you will independently build Xsolla’s franchise in the region, establishing coverage of sovereign wealth funds, government entities and family offices, and setting up the regional office.

Key responsibilities

• Own senior coverage of sovereign wealth funds, government‑related entities and principal family offices across the GCC.
• Lead regional fundraising, pre‑marketing, and co‑investment dialogues, managing end‑to‑end diligence processes.
• Advise on hub determination between DIFC and ADGM and establish the regional office with legal and finance teams.
• Build the firm’s presence at regional investment forums, run events, and coordinate with government‑relations workstreams.
• Recruit and develop the regional Relationship Manager and future hires, establishing coverage and CRM standards.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with DIFC, ADGM and GCC private placement frameworks, and maintain KYC/AML controls.

Required profile

• 10+ years covering MENA institutional capital in investment banking, sovereign investing, placement agency, asset management or family office roles.
• At least 5 years in a senior client‑facing capacity with demonstrable senior relationships in GCC sovereign institutions and principal family offices.
• Track record of raising capital, securing commitments or executing strategic partnerships in the region, ideally with USD 500 million+ placed.
• Existing relationships with sovereign gaming, esports and digital entertainment investment arms are a strong advantage.
