About the role
The Head of Math will lead the mathematics department at Konnekts LLC, shaping curriculum and assessment to align with the school’s mission and vision. This senior position oversees teaching quality, data analysis, and professional development for department staff.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the department in developing and improving teaching and learning practices.
- Set priorities and goals that support the school’s mission and vision.
- Plan curriculum, create and maintain schemes of work, and coordinate vertical and horizontal planning with colleagues.
- Maintain and develop assessment practices, including oral assessments, standardisation and moderation strategies.
- Analyse examination and performance data and report results to the Middle and Secondary School Leadership Team.
- Monitor and evaluate teaching and learning within the department in line with school policy.
- Recommend appropriate professional development for department teachers.
Required profile
- Minimum five years of teaching experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics.
