Head of Operations

About the role

The Head of Operations will lead daily operational activities at Quttainah Specialized Hospital in Dubai, ensuring both clinical and non‑clinical services run smoothly and meet regulatory, quality and patient‑experience standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all day‑to‑day operational functions across the hospital.
• Align processes with UAE healthcare regulations, accreditation standards and internal quality benchmarks.
• Manage departmental performance, optimise workflows and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve operational policies and procedures.
• Monitor budgets, resource allocation and utilisation to support sustainable growth.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, medical staff and support functions to achieve strategic objectives.

Required profile

• Strong operations‑management experience in a hospital or specialised medical centre.
• Advanced analytical ability to interpret performance data and make evidence‑based decisions.
• Proven team‑leadership and mentorship skills in a diverse, fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with clinical staff, management and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated budgeting expertise, including cost control and financial monitoring.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management or related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Familiarity with UAE healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
