Head of Product Analytics and Experimentation

About the role

You will lead product analytics at qlub and build the experimentation engine that drives growth, scaling to over 50 A/B tests per month. You will set data modelling standards and manage a team of BI analysts working closely with Product, Operations, Tech and Data Engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end experimentation: configure and scale the A/B testing platform, define test design standards, sample sizing, metrics, guardrails and review results.
• Train product managers and operations leads to run sound experiments and create playbooks, templates and review rituals.
• Define the analytical data model, including entity and event design, slowly changing dimensions, a semantic layer and metric definitions.
• Introduce data contracts and governance standards with Tech and Data Engineering.
• Coach and grow a team of three junior analysts and one senior analyst.

Required profile

• 5+ years in analytics or data science at a large data‑driven company or with a modern experimentation platform.
• Hands‑on experience building or scaling an experimentation programme with solid statistical knowledge.
• Strong data modelling skills: dimensional modelling, SCDs, event schema design, dbt and high‑level SQL.
• Proven ability to drive change and get non‑technical teams to adopt new practices.
• Clear communication with executives and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Experience with experimentation tools such as Sigma, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Statsig, Optimizely.
• Proficiency in dbt, Airflow, Git, Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery, ClickHouse.
• Familiarity with data governance/cataloguing tools like Atlan, Alation, OpenMetadata.
• Strong statistical techniques: power analysis, variance reduction, sequential testing.
