Head of Public Policy – Middle East & Africa (MEA)

About the role

Snap Inc. is seeking a senior leader to shape and execute its public policy agenda across the Middle East and Africa. Based in Dubai, you will act as the primary voice of Snap with governments, NGOs and other key stakeholders, ensuring the company’s interests are represented in policy discussions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a regional public policy strategy aligned with Snap’s growth objectives.
• Build and deepen relationships with officials, trade associations, NGOs and other influential bodies in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and selected African markets.
• Serve as the spokesperson for Snap on policy matters at events, forums and media engagements.
• Collaborate with legal, product, sales, communications and platform integrity teams to assess legislative initiatives and advise on risk mitigation.
• Provide timely responses to policy inquiries and support senior executives on public affairs issues.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in public policy, government relations or regulatory affairs within the MEA region.
• Proven track record of influencing policy outcomes and managing high‑level stakeholder relationships.
• Strong understanding of technology‑related policy issues and the ability to translate them into actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
