Head Valet

About the role

The Head Valet at Pullman Dubai JLT is the first and last point of contact for guests, leading a high‑energy team to deliver seamless, upscale arrivals and departures. This role blends operational precision, team leadership, and a "Heartist" service mindset to uphold Pullman’s premium standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor the valet team, enforce grooming standards and service protocols, and coordinate shift rotas to minimise guest wait times.
• Oversee traffic flow at the hotel entrance, ensure safe handling, parking and retrieval of guest vehicles, and manage the valet parking log, key security and damage inspection reports with 100% accuracy.
• Collaborate with Security to maintain driveway safety, provide proactive guest welcomes, handle complaints or vehicle concerns promptly, and act as a brand ambassador for Pullman’s philosophy.
• Monitor valet equipment and inventory, and ensure any parking fees are processed correctly through the Front Office system.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory experience in valet or concierge within a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel.
• Valid UAE manual and automatic driving licence with an accident‑free record.
• Fluent English; additional languages such as Arabic, Russian or French are a strong advantage.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Required skills

• Familiarity with property management systems (e.g., Opera).
• Experience using valet tracking software.
