Head Waiter / Head Waitress

About the role

Cipriani Restaurant DIFC is hiring a Head Waiter or Head Waitress through its partner Hosco in Dubai. The role involves organizing and directing a team that delivers high-quality food and beverage service, with prompt, accurate and personalized attention to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the kitchen, stewarding and outlet cashiers to keep operations running smoothly
• Run regular training sessions for the team in line with departmental SOPs
• Monitor duty schedules and ensure staff appearance and grooming standards
• Help set up the outlet on time according to meal settings and opening hours
• Welcome arriving guests and seat them through the hostess, taking over if she is not available
• Maintain a professional, friendly relationship with guests and contribute to meeting the outlet's monthly revenue budget
• Be familiar with the menu, promotions and other outlet matters

Required profile

• Ideally a diploma or degree in hospitality with a maximum of two years' experience in a similar role
• Fluent written and spoken English; wide familiarity with Micros is desirable
• Previous leadership and supervisory experience is a definite plus
• Well presented, outgoing and friendly, able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
• Experience in the hospitality industry preferred
