About the role

Maintain and repair earth‑moving equipment in demanding dredging and marine environments, following OEM manuals and HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

Carry out preventive maintenance according to OEM schedules and record service details.
Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, hydraulic, brake and steering faults on excavators, cranes, wheel loaders, dozers, dump trucks and auxiliary gear.
Replace and overhaul components such as pumps, motors, cylinders, final drives and undercarriage parts.
Perform breakdown repairs on‑site, including remote and marine locations, while adhering to LOTO, permit‑to‑work, lifting and hot‑work procedures.

Required profile

Technical diploma or trade certificate in heavy equipment or mechanical engineering (or equivalent).
7+ years of experience maintaining heavy equipment, preferably in dredging, marine or port settings.
Proven fault‑finding on Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, Hitachi or similar brands.
Ability to read hydraulic/electrical schematics and OEM manuals.
Valid UAE driving licence preferred.
