Heavy Equipment Mechanic – Prime Movers & Tankers

About the role

Oilburg is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain, repair and overhaul a fleet of heavy‑duty prime movers (Scania, Volvo, MAN) and tanker trucks in the United Arab Emirates. The role requires strong diagnostic abilities, hands‑on repair expertise and the capacity to work independently to maximise vehicle uptime.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues on prime movers and tankers.
• Perform scheduled maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections and tire servicing.
• Inspect and repair engines, transmissions, clutches, suspensions, steering systems and brakes.
• Use Jaltest diagnostic tools for troubleshooting.
• Repair or replace fuel pumps, injectors, alternators and gearboxes.
• Maintain accurate service records and report completed work.
• Handle Scully system calibration, valve maintenance, Robin PTO pump installation, battery control testing, GPS and camera surveillance system installation and maintenance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience maintaining heavy trucks and tankers.
• Proven experience with RTA truck passing inspections.
• Ability to work independently and ensure high vehicle availability.
