Helper

About the role

The Helper supports daily operations within DP World’s logistics facilities, focusing on the maintenance and preparation of vessel cradles. This entry‑level position works closely with foremen, supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth workflow and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in routine maintenance of cradles used for vessel handling.
• Prepare cradles for different vessels according to operational requirements.
• Maintain good working relationships with workers, foremen, supervisors and management.
• Perform foreman duties when appointed for specific projects.
• Verify material standards before use and report any damages.
• Work within allocated timescales to meet department targets.
• Attend required training sessions and follow day‑to‑day operational procedures.
• Carry out additional related duties as directed.

Required profile

• No formal qualifications required.
• At least one month of relevant experience in a logistics or industrial support environment.
• Ability to follow instructions, work safely and collaborate with a diverse team.
