High Speed Rail Infrastructure Maintenance Expert

About the role

Parsons is seeking a senior expert to lead the infrastructure maintenance strategy for the Etihad Rail High‑Speed project in Abu Dhabi. You will act as the subject‑matter expert across design, construction, testing, commissioning and revenue service phases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and assure maintenance concepts, asset management frameworks and lifecycle plans for track, civil works, stations, depots, power, signalling and telecommunications.
• Define RAMS targets, inspection regimes, preventive and predictive maintenance requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Review designs and contractor deliverables for maintainability, safety, accessibility and whole‑life performance.
• Support procurement of maintenance services, including scope development, technical specifications and performance criteria.
• Coordinate with designers, contractors, operators and regulators to manage interfaces and resolve maintenance‑related risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, railway, mechanical, electrical engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of railway infrastructure maintenance experience, including at least 10 years on high‑speed rail or comparable mainline passenger systems.
• Proven experience developing maintenance strategies, asset registers and readiness programmes.
• Strong technical knowledge of permanent way, civil works, structures, stations, depots, traction power, signalling and telecommunications.
