HoReCa Sales Executive - Foodstuff Distribution

About the role

Al Qithara Foodstuff Trading, a UAE-based food distributor supplying restaurants, hotels, cafés, catering companies and other foodservice businesses, is expanding its HoReCa Sales Department. It is hiring two full-time, field-based B2B sales executives to combine new business development, account management and hands-on customer support. The role is independent territory management with regular customer visits.

Key responsibilities

• New business: prospect restaurants, hotels, cafés and caterers, present the product portfolio, arrange samples and tastings, prepare quotations, negotiate terms and build a sales pipeline.
• Account management: develop an assigned portfolio of existing customers, cross-sell and upsell, re-activate inactive accounts and meet monthly sales targets.
• Customer coordination: liaise with logistics, warehouse, finance and customer service teams, follow up deliveries and payments, resolve issues and escalate unresolved ones.
• Sales planning and reporting: plan daily field activities, record interactions and quotations, update the pipeline, submit activity reports and forecasts, and take responsibility for agreed KPIs.

Required profile

• Previous B2B sales experience in the UAE; HoReCa, foodservice or food distribution sales experience preferred.
• Good understanding of the UAE restaurant and hospitality market.
• Valid UAE driving licence, own car and willingness to travel regularly.
• Good command of English; basic Microsoft Excel and sales reporting.
• Proactive, independent, commercially focused and organised.

Preferred qualifications

• Existing relationships with chefs, purchasing managers or F&B decision-makers.
• Experience selling frozen, chilled or other food products to HoReCa customers.
• Knowledge of the UAE food distribution market and purchasing processes.
