About the role

The Hostess creates a warm first impression by greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth service flow in the restaurant.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their assigned tables
• Manage restaurant reservations, cancellations, table assignments, and special requests
• Answer telephone enquiries professionally
• Monitor guest flow, organise waiting lists during busy periods
• Conduct table visits and coordinate with the team to ensure guest satisfaction
• Maintain a clean, organised hostess desk and dining area
• Support menu preparation, cashiering procedures, and restaurant operations when required

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Hostess or similar food‑and‑beverage role
• Good verbal communication skills in English; Arabic or Russian a plus
• Strong guest service and interpersonal skills
• Professional, well‑groomed appearance and high personal hygiene standards
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays
