About the role
The Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor ensures that guest rooms and public areas meet Marriott's quality standards by inspecting, coordinating, and documenting cleaning activities.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and pool after cleaning to ensure standards are met.
- Run sold room reports, verify room status, prioritize cleaning, and update departing room statuses.
- Coordinate efforts between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
- Document and resolve discrepancies with the Front Desk and communicate changes in room assignments.
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching staff.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related work experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
Required skills
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 55 lb unassisted and heavier with assistance.
- Proficiency in using computers or point‑of‑sale systems for work‑related information.
