Housekeeper - BVLGARI Resort Dubai

About the role

BVLGARI Resort Dubai is looking for a housekeeper. The role responds quickly to requests from guests and other departments, keeps guest rooms tidy and welcoming, and follows company and safety policies.

Key responsibilities

• Fill the supply cart and move it to the assigned area
• Enter guest rooms following access procedures and check they are vacant
• Replace guest amenities and supplies, and replace dirty linens with clean ones
• Make beds, clean bathrooms, remove trash, dirty linen and room service items
• Check that all appliances are present and working, straighten desk items and furniture, dust, polish and remove marks from walls and furnishings
• Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties in guest rooms and hallways
• Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents or injuries, and store flammable materials safely
• Welcome guests, anticipate their needs, assist people with disabilities and speak clearly and professionally
• Follow quality standards, keep proprietary information confidential and support the team

Required profile

• No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
• No related work experience or supervisory experience required
• No license or certification required

Required skills

• Able to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds alone, and heavier with assistance
• Able to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart over sloping and uneven surfaces
• Able to reach overhead and below the knees, stand, sit, kneel or walk for long periods
• Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
