Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a Housekeeping Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas at our hotel in Sharjah. The role involves following supervisors' instructions, adhering to hotel standards, and ensuring a pleasant environment for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Collect keys and daily assignments, preparing the trolley and necessary equipment for efficient task performance.
• Clean and maintain guest rooms, replenishing room supplies according to the hotel’s Standards of Performance.
• Clean and restock bathrooms, ensuring adherence to safety and performance standards.
• Arrange guest belongings and tidy rooms and bathrooms.
• Coordinate with Valet Service to collect guest clothes for laundry, dry‑cleaning, or pressing.
• Clean corridors, service pantries and service areas, keeping them organized and professional.
• Report maintenance‑related issues to the Engineering Department.
• Consider guest needs in public areas and rooms, providing courteous service.
• Uphold environmental, health and safety standards in line with company policies.

Required profile

• Ability to follow supervisors’ guidance and hotel policies.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Physical stamina for handling cleaning tasks and moving equipment.
• Good communication skills to report issues and interact with guests.
• Awareness of health, safety and environmental standards.
