Housekeeping Manager – Luxury Resort

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping operations of a prestigious luxury resort in Sharjah. The role demands strong leadership, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to drive operational efficiencies across a large team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full housekeeping department, ensuring exceptional cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards.
• Conduct daily inspections and walkthroughs to verify compliance with luxury service standards.
• Oversee staffing, training, scheduling, and performance management for a large team.
• Develop and implement housekeeping systems, procedures, and service standards.
• Manage departmental budget, cost control, forecasting and inventory of linen, uniforms, and cleaning supplies.
• Coordinate procurement, supplier management, maintenance reporting, pest control and deep‑cleaning programmes.
• Prepare operational reports for senior management and resolve operational issues promptly.

Required profile

• Graduate in Hotel Management or a related field.
• EU or UK passport preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of hospitality experience, including at least 3 years in a similar senior housekeeping role within high‑volume, luxury environments.
• Strong leadership, people management and communication skills in English (Arabic an advantage).
• Proven ability in budgeting, cost control and implementing operational efficiencies.
