Housekeeping Supervisor – Luxury Resort (Sharjah, UAE)

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor will lead daily housekeeping operations at a luxury resort in Sharjah, ensuring all guest areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, the role combines hands‑on service with team leadership in a high‑pressure, high‑standard environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and implement housekeeping standards and procedures for staff.
• Assign daily tasks, inspect work, and ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met.
• Conduct orientation and ongoing training for housekeeping staff on procedures and equipment use.
• Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies, issue equipment, and manage material requests.
• Maintain accurate records of assignments, staffing, and operational reports.
• Schedule shifts, arrange replacements for absences, and motivate team members.
• Oversee daily snagging, resolve maintenance issues, and ensure health, safety, and hygiene compliance.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or a related field.
• EU or UK passport preferred.
• 5–7 years of hospitality experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory housekeeping role within luxury hotels or resorts.
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
