Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

As a Housekeeping Supervisor at Banyan Tree Dubai, you will oversee daily housekeeping operations to ensure guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces meet luxury standards of cleanliness, presentation and service.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, suites and public areas to ensure they meet brand standards and report any maintenance issues.
• Supervise and coordinate room attendants, allocate tasks efficiently and provide on‑the‑job training and coaching.
• Ensure daily cleaning schedules, productivity and quality standards are met across assigned sections.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, handle special amenities and manage guest feedback professionally.
• Maintain compliance with hygiene, safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling of chemicals.
• Monitor inventory of linens, cleaning supplies and amenities, and complete accurate inspection reports and shift handovers.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in housekeeping, including supervisory experience in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Good communication skills in English; additional languages are beneficial.

Required skills

• Experience with hotel PMS systems (advantageous).
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals and equipment.
