HR Generalist – Dubai

About the role

The HR Generalist will support Shafaq International Trading in maintaining efficient HR and HSE operations across the Dubai office. You will ensure compliance with UAE labour legislation, drive safety initiatives, and provide timely reporting to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain HR procedures, policies and ensure they meet legal and best‑practice standards.
• Collaborate with HSE team leads to support health, safety and environment programs.
• Handle labour‑related issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor and report on HR and safety metrics, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Participate in workplace incident investigations and prepare reports.
• Coach supervisors on employee development, discipline and reward processes.
• Maintain strong relationships with local and provincial HR and HSE regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• HR Diploma/Certificate or equivalent experience.
• Solid knowledge of UAE labour laws and HSE practices.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and confidentiality skills.
• Professional attitude with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
