HR Governance & MIS Specialist

About the role

The HR Governance & MIS Specialist will support the HR Governance Manager in implementing robust governance, compliance and risk frameworks across the HR function in Abu Dhabi. This role also assists the MIS and data analytics team to ensure accurate reporting and scorecard management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in HR risk assessments, control testing (RCSA) and monitor Key Risk Indicators on the GRC system.
• Support execution and documentation of BRCC meetings and ensure compliance with Central Bank and fraud‑related requirements.
• Help execute disciplinary actions, maintain confidentiality, and update the HR Disciplinary Framework.
• Track corrective action plans and audit observations, ensuring timely closure of governance actions.
• Prepare Central Bank MIS reports and manage the HR group balance scorecard, collecting KRIs from all HR departments.
• Support development, review and amendment of HR policies and procedures in line with regulations.
• Participate in HR systems information and HR project activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology or related field.
• Minimum 1 + year experience in an HR‑related role with exposure to MIS or operational risk management.
• Strong organizational, self‑management and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Discretion, confidentiality and a problem‑solving mindset.
