HR Manager – Dubai

About the role

The HR Manager will lead the human resources function for a dynamic organization in Dubai, ensuring compliance with local labour laws and international standards while supporting business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company policies, UAE labour legislation and ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISM and ISPS requirements.
• Develop, implement and maintain HR policies and procedures aligned with legal and business needs.
• Lead manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding and induction for shore‑based and sea staff.
• Provide employee‑relations guidance, manage disciplinary, grievance and performance processes.
• Oversee payroll, salary reviews, benefits administration and visa/work permit documentation.
• Maintain accurate HR records, HRIS data and employment contracts.
• Identify training needs, coordinate mandatory training and support career development initiatives.
• Prepare and manage headcount budgets, monitor HR expenditure and produce regular workforce reports.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of UAE labour legislation and its impact on business operations.
• Experience in HR compliance, audits and ISO standards implementation.
• Proven ability to manage end‑to‑end recruitment, onboarding and performance management processes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to advise managers on employee‑relations matters.
• Ability to handle payroll, compensation and benefits in coordination with finance.
