HR & Operations Manager – Dubai

About the role
We are a forward‑thinking fintech company seeking a proactive HR & Operations Manager to become the operational backbone of our Dubai office. Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee daily office management, HR administration, and people operations while collaborating with global HR teams.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations, including supplies, facilities, and equipment management.
- Lead the upcoming office relocation – planning, coordination, and execution.
- Manage and mentor the Admin Specialist in Dubai.
- Handle general administrative tasks and support departmental operational procedures.
- Research, liaise with vendors and suppliers, and manage petty cash.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting as needed.
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff.
- Maintain HR admin tasks: employee records, leave tracking, and document management.
- Ensure compliance with UAE Labour laws and company standards.
- Facilitate employee visa processing and guide employees through the application journey.
- Oversee onboarding and adaptation processes.
- Develop, implement, and reinforce HR policies and procedures.
- Support performance review and employee development processes.
- Collaborate with global HR teams on initiatives, systems, and process improvements.
- Report operational and HR matters to the General Manager.
- Participate in ad‑hoc tasks and projects as required.
Required profile
- BSc in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in office management, HR operations, or HR administration.
- Deep understanding of Dubai’s labour market and best hiring practices.
- Strong knowledge of UAE Labour laws and visa processes.
- Experience in the fintech industry is a plus.
- Proactive, independent working style with a can‑do attitude.
- Ability to stay calm and effective under high‑pressure situations.
Required skills
- Experience with HRIS tools (e.g., BambooHR).
