HR Welfare Officer

About the role

The HR Welfare Officer will support Ejadah’s commitment to the Employer Pays Principle and worker welfare by conducting post‑recruitment compliance audits, worker interviews, grievance investigations and recruitment compliance monitoring. The role ensures ethical recruitment and full compliance with company standards, client requirements and regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct post‑arrival and onboarding interviews to verify ethical recruitment and fair treatment of employees.
• Execute routine and risk‑based audits of recruitment and onboarding files, document deviations and track corrective actions.
• Deliver worker awareness sessions on recruitment rights, manage grievance investigations and ensure confidential reporting mechanisms.
• Support agency due‑diligence assessments, monitor corrective action plans and maintain agency compliance records.
• Prepare monthly compliance and worker welfare reports, track key metrics and provide insights to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Law or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in HR compliance, worker welfare, labor compliance, ethics or social compliance, preferably with blue‑collar or multinational workforces in the UAE.
• Experience with compliance audits, grievance investigations and welfare programmes is essential.
