HSE Engineer

About the role

The HSE Engineer will lead the implementation and monitoring of health, safety and environment (HSE) systems across construction supervision activities in Dubai. You will ensure a safe working environment, drive a proactive safety culture, and guarantee compliance with UAE regulations and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE management systems on all construction sites.
• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations and relevant international standards.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
• Monitor contractor HSE performance and enforce corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training, awareness programs, and maintain HSE documentation.
• Prepare regular HSE reports for internal and client review.

Required profile

• 10‑20 years of experience in construction supervision or large infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent HSE certification.
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
