HSE Officer – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are seeking an HSE Officer to support health, safety and environmental compliance for a client in Abu Dhabi. The role covers both project sites—including data centres, ICT, ELV and MEP installations—and office environments, ensuring all personnel follow approved procedures and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections and office safety checks to verify safe working conditions.
• Monitor high‑risk activities such as electrical work, work at height, lifting, hot work, confined spaces, cable pulling and equipment installation.
• Review and support risk assessments, method statements, toolbox talks and permit‑to‑work documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors and client HSE representatives to ensure compliance.
• Report unsafe acts, incidents, near‑misses and non‑compliances and follow up on corrective actions.
• Support project mobilisation by communicating HSE requirements, emergency arrangements and PPE needs.

Required profile

• Strong experience in data‑center, ICT, ELV, MEP, construction or technical project environments.
• Proven background in project‑based HSE support.
• Good understanding of risks linked to electrical works, installation activities and subcontractor operations.
