HSE Officer - Infrastructure

About the role

Innovo Group is looking for an HSE Officer for its Infrastructure project in Dubai. The role implements and monitors HSE requirements on project sites through inspections, toolbox talks and incident reporting, keeping the site safe.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily site safety inspections, monitor PPE use and safe work practices, and stop unsafe work and escalate serious hazards immediately.
• Deliver daily toolbox talks and safety inductions for site personnel and subcontractors, and issue and monitor permits-to-work for high-risk activities.
• Report incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions to the HSE Engineer without delay, assist in basic incident investigations and complete incident documentation.
• Monitor housekeeping standards and waste segregation, and check environmental controls such as dust suppression and spill containment.
• Inspect plant, tools and lifting gear for valid certification, and maintain HSE signage, barricades and emergency equipment.
• Introduce modern tools, technologies and processes that improve efficiency and transparency, and encourage innovation to reduce costs without compromising quality.

Required profile

• Diploma in Safety or a related field; NEBOSH IGC preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of HSE experience on construction sites.
