HSE Officer – IT/ICT/ELV/Data Centre & MEP Projects

About the role

The HSE Officer will support health, safety and environmental compliance across IT, ICT, ELV, data‑centre and MEP technical projects in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures that employees, subcontractors and visitors follow approved HSE procedures, client requirements and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor HSE compliance on project and client sites, including data centres, warehouses and office locations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and verify safe working conditions for electrical works, cable pulling, rack installation and other high‑risk activities.
• Review and support risk assessments, method statements, toolbox talks and permit‑to‑work documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and client HSE representatives.
• Identify hazards, maintain HSE records and follow up on corrective actions.
• Support emergency preparedness and HSE documentation for both site and office environments.

Required profile

• Proven HSE experience in IT/ICT/ELV/Data‑centre/MEP technical projects, not just general construction.
• Hands‑on experience with live electrical areas, access‑controlled sites and permit‑to‑work coordination.
• Ability to monitor subcontractor activities, conduct inspections and deliver toolbox talks.
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and client‑specific safety requirements.
