Security Supervisor

About the role

The Security Supervisor supervises security functions for employees and contractors, including on-site security with military and/or government entities. The role ensures compliance with gate pass and security policies and procedures while implementing security measures.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise security personnel and ensure they secure the premises and personnel, inspecting areas and access points
• Carry out daily security patrols and rotate night duty shifts
• Control entry based on approved gate passes and documents, coordinating with the Security Document Controller
• Report irregularities, inform violators of policies and procedures, and prevent loss and damage
• Write incident reports, alarm reports, complaint reports and logs, interview witnesses and obtain signatures
• Ensure the safety, security and well-being of personnel and the premises, and keep the premises free from danger
• Assist in developing preventative measures against incidents and risks, and respond to security incidents by assisting official authorities
• Evaluate and analyse the performance of security personnel and follow company service and operating standards
• Provide excellent customer service and comply with local regulations and legal requirements

Required profile

• High school or secondary education, or a combination of education and experience
• Military background is a plus
• SIRA certification (Security Industry Regulatory Authority) and DPS certification (Department of Protective Systems) are mandatory
• Minimum 2-3 years at the same position in a similar structure or in 5-6 star hotels
• Good communication in Arabic and English (reading, writing and speaking)
