Human Resources Director

About the role

The confidential Abu Dhabi‑based investment and development group is looking for an experienced Human Resources Director to shape and execute its people strategy across multiple business units. You will act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, ensuring the organisation attracts, develops and retains top talent while maintaining compliance and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement HR strategies aligned with the group’s growth objectives.
• Lead recruitment, senior‑level hiring, workforce planning and talent pipeline development.
• Oversee performance management systems, KPIs, appraisal cycles and competency frameworks.
• Manage compensation structures, benchmarking, rewards programmes and annual salary reviews.
• Ensure consistent, lawful handling of employee relations, grievances and disciplinary actions.
• Develop, update and enforce HR policies, procedures and compliance frameworks.
• Advise senior management on organisational design, culture and people decisions.
• Drive learning initiatives, leadership development and capability‑building programmes.
• Maintain HRIS, dashboards, analytics and workforce reporting.
• Promote employee engagement, communication and culture‑building across the group.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 10–15 years of HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven expertise in HR strategy, organisational development, talent management and HR governance.
• Deep knowledge of UAE labour law and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing HR operations across multi‑entity or group structures.
• Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
