Human Resources Director

About the role

The Human Resources Director will lead the attraction, recruitment, development, and retention of a high‑performing workforce to support business growth and operational excellence. This senior role requires deep HR leadership experience in asset‑intensive sectors such as Oil & Gas, Construction, or Industrial Services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute talent acquisition strategies, overseeing recruitment for senior, technical, and operational positions.
• Develop talent development, learning, and succession planning programs aligned with business priorities.
• Lead performance management, employee engagement, and retention initiatives.
• Formulate HR strategy, policies, organizational design, and change‑management programmes.
• Ensure compliance with labour legislation, manage HR budgets, analytics and reporting.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 12‑15 years progressive HR experience with at least 5 years in senior HR leadership.
• Proven expertise in talent acquisition, talent development, workforce planning and succession planning.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Heavy Equipment Rental, Construction, Engineering or similar industries.
• Strong knowledge of GCC labour laws and HR best practices.
