Human Resources Intern

About the role

The Human Resources Intern will support the HR team in creating a vibrant workplace culture at the Holiday Inn & Staybridge Suites Dubai Business Bay. This role offers hands‑on experience in employee engagement, internal communications, and day‑to‑day HR administration.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in organizing employee engagement programs, celebrations, and recognition events.
• Support the development of creative ideas to improve workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
• Manage internal communications related to engagement activities, such as emails, posters, and newsletters.
• Lead the welfare committee and promote active participation among members.
• Maintain engagement calendars, participation records, and event costing for the DHR team.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth execution of HR events and initiatives.
• Provide general administrative support, including filing, documentation, and onboarding assistance.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a creative and energetic attitude.
• Ability to thrive in an interactive, fast‑paced environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of creating online collaterals such as newsletters, flyers, and posters.
