Human Resources Manager – Fintech Startup

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Human Resources Manager to lead people operations for a fast‑growing fintech based in Dubai. You will ensure seamless HR processes, compliance with UAE regulations, and a high‑quality employee experience as the company expands across the GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day HR operations including employment contracts, employee records, HRIS administration and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law, MOHRE procedures, WPS, and coordinate visas and work permits.
• Oversee onboarding and off‑boarding to deliver a consistent employee journey.
• Coordinate payroll with finance, handling salary processing, leave management and EOSB calculations.
• Develop, update and communicate HR policies in line with local regulations.
• Support performance management cycles and maintain related records.
• Handle employee relations, grievances and disciplinary actions in accordance with UAE law.
• Produce HR analytics and reports on headcount, attrition, leave and other metrics for leadership.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of HR operations or generalist experience, with at least 2 years in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law, MOHRE and DIFC/ADGM regulations.
• Hands‑on payroll coordination and WPS compliance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field; CIPD or SHRM certification a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced startup environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS platforms such as BambooHR or Zoho People.
