Human Resources Manager – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Human Resources Manager leads all HR functions for Park Hyatt Dubai, aligning people strategies with business objectives, employee engagement and operational performance. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the role oversees talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits and compliance with UAE labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a strategic HR business partner to hotel leadership on culture, people and organisational effectiveness.
• Lead, develop and coach the HR team to provide confidential, service‑oriented support.
• Oversee day‑to‑day HR operations, ensuring alignment with brand standards and company values.
• Prepare and manage the annual HR budget, monitoring resource utilisation.
• Develop, implement and maintain HR policies, procedures and standards in line with local regulations.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE Labour Law and statutory employment requirements.
• Manage recruitment, selection and workforce planning to attract top talent.
• Drive talent development, succession planning, coaching and career growth initiatives.
• Support payroll coordination, HR systems administration and cost‑control measures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a related field.
• 5‑7 years progressive HR experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or international hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and HR compliance requirements.
• Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, succession planning and HR operations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, coaching and conflict‑resolution abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in HR systems (HRIS) and HR reporting tools.
• Advanced Microsoft Office application skills.
• Strong analytical and budgeting capabilities related to HR functions.
