About the role
The Human Resources Officer provides essential administrative support to the HR function, handling communications, documentation, and employee onboarding in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
Key responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and record messages.
- Create and maintain filing systems for applicant interview documentation.
- File, track, and process employment applications.
- Prepare office correspondence and audit payroll distribution.
- Communicate job‑offer documentation and complete I‑9 verification.
- Create new employee personnel files and update employee bulletin boards.
- Post required legal and regulatory HR notices.
- Follow company safety, security, and appearance policies while maintaining confidentiality.
- Assist colleagues to ensure coverage and guest service, and develop positive working relationships.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least one year of related HR or administrative work experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- Ability to lift objects up to 10 pounds without assistance.
