HVAC Technician

About the role

Hilton is hiring an HVAC Technician for its DoubleTree by Hilton Resort and Spa Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah. The technician inspects, diagnoses, maintains and repairs heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems so that guests and team members stay comfortable.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain HVAC systems, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF systems, ventilation units and exhaust fans.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance, inspections and servicing to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Diagnose faults and repair or replace motors, compressors, coils, belts, thermostats, refrigerant lines and other components.
• Ensure systems comply with safety regulations, manufacturer guidelines and environmental standards, and report hazards.
• Respond promptly to service requests and emergencies such as equipment failures, refrigerant leaks and ventilation issues.
• Keep accurate records of inspections, maintenance, repairs and work orders.
• Support energy management programmes, system upgrades and special projects assigned by management.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent in HVAC technology, mechanical engineering or a related field (advantageous).
• Proven hands-on experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems.
• Sound knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems related to building services.
• Previous hospitality experience is an advantage.
• Valid HVAC technician licenses.
• Flexibility for emergency call-outs and shift work.
