HVAC Technician

About the role

A full-time HVAC Technician position is open in the UAE, at technical / entry-to-mid level. The technician assists with the installation, inspection, maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, with a focus on practical technical knowledge, troubleshooting and workplace safety.

Key responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain and repair HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on air conditioning and ventilation systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and check components such as compressors, motors, fans, filters and thermostats.
• Clean, replace and maintain filters, coils, ducts and other components.
• Monitor equipment performance and test system functionality after installation, servicing or repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance and repairs, and report defects and repair needs to supervisors.
• Follow technical procedures and safety requirements, and coordinate with facilities and maintenance teams.

Required profile

• Technical certificate, diploma or vocational qualification in HVAC, refrigeration and air conditioning, mechanical engineering or a related field is an advantage.
• Previous experience in HVAC installation, maintenance or repair is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must currently reside in the UAE and be legally authorised to live and work there; Seeker, Tourist, Visit, War, Grace Period or Cancelled visa holders are not eligible.
• Must have a personal UAE bank account to receive salary.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration principles.
• Familiarity with hand tools, testing instruments and maintenance equipment.
• Good troubleshooting, technical and problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
