HVAC Technician – Luxury Hotel (Dubai)

About the role

The St. Regis Downtown Dubai is looking for an HVAC Technician to respond to guest repair requests, perform preventive maintenance, and support the hotel’s engineering operations. The role involves a mix of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing tasks in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate solutions promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, kitchen, and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Inspect tools, equipment and machines visually, and carry necessary tools and radios.
• Identify, locate and operate shut‑off valves and utility shut‑offs for the building.
• Maintain maintenance inventory, requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Use Lockout/Tagout procedures before any maintenance work.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Some experience in general maintenance, preferably in hotel engineering.
• Valid driver’s license.
