HVAC Technician – Marjan Island Resort

About the role

Join the engineering team at a premier resort where you will ensure guests enjoy optimal indoor comfort. As an HVAC Technician you will install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air‑conditioning systems across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test and maintain HVAC equipment including chillers, air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), VRF systems, ventilation units and exhaust fans.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime.
• Diagnose faults and repair or replace motors, compressors, coils, belts, thermostats and refrigerant lines.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, manufacturer guidelines and environmental standards.
• Respond promptly to service requests and emergencies such as refrigerant leaks or ventilation failures.
• Document inspections, maintenance activities and work orders accurately.
• Support energy‑efficiency initiatives and assist with system upgrades.
• Carry out special projects assigned by engineering management.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in HVAC technology, mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Proven hands‑on experience with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of commercial HVAC systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical components related to HVAC.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
