HVAC Technician – Resort Maintenance

About the role

The HVAC Technician will ensure the reliable operation of all heating, ventilation and air‑conditioning equipment at the Radisson Resort on Al Marjan Island. You will work closely with the engineering team to maintain guest comfort and support the hotel’s energy‑efficiency initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform repair, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of chillers, FAHUs, AHUs, FCUs, exhaust and ventilation systems.
• Record daily equipment logs and maintain accurate documentation.
• Assist supervisors with spare‑parts inventory and procurement.
• Participate in the hotel’s energy‑conservation programme and suggest system improvements.
• Keep plant rooms, workshops and related areas clean and orderly.
• Provide support during special events and adapt to flexible work schedules.
• Report to the Duty Engineer and collaborate with other departments and external contractors.

Required profile

• Diploma or certification in HVAC or Refrigeration.
• Minimum 2 years of experience maintaining HVAC systems in a hotel or resort environment.
• Good knowledge of central air‑conditioning and split‑unit systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• HVAC system maintenance and repair.
• Operation of chillers, FAHU, AHU and FCU equipment.
• Experience with exhaust and ventilation systems.
• Energy‑conservation practices for HVAC installations.
• Spare‑parts management and inventory control.
