In Room Dining Order Taker

About the role

Join Raffles Dubai, a luxury 5‑star hotel, as an In‑Room Dining Order Taker. You will provide prompt, personalized in‑room dining service, ensuring seamless guest experiences while upholding Raffles’ high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Update daily operational feedback, prepare cashiering forms, and handle cash accurately following Raffles and accounting procedures.
• Maintain full knowledge of menus, wine, beverage lists, promotions, and hotel services; communicate unavailable items with the culinary team.
• Answer calls using LQA standards, take orders with personalized recommendations, and upsell effectively.
• Process POS and cashiering procedures, ensure timely delivery, and keep the Order Taker cabin clean and organized.
• Support colleagues during busy periods, process beverage and store requisitions, and record guest preferences.
• Report guest complaints, service concerns, and operational issues promptly, following Raffles service recovery standards.
• Ensure compliance with LQA, HACCP, hygiene, health & safety, and Raffles SOPs.

Required profile

• Good verbal, reading and writing proficiency in English; well‑presented and professionally groomed.
• Strong communication, guest‑contact and problem‑solving abilities; team player with attention to detail.
• Guest‑focused, proactive, and able to remain composed in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience using hotel POS systems and cash handling.
