In Store Operations Manager – Luxury Retail

About the role

The In Store Operations Manager will report to the Store Director and work closely with the Deputy Store Director to ensure back‑of‑house functions support the store’s business objectives and deliver an exceptional customer experience in a luxury retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational and back‑of‑house activities, aligning them with sales targets and brand standards.
• Manage stock availability, inventory processes and visual merchandising support.
• Collaborate with Store Director and Deputy Store Director to integrate operational strategies with overall store goals.
• Lead, coach and develop a dedicated team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
• Design and implement training programmes to deepen product knowledge and operational competence.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail operations or store management, preferably within luxury fashion.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate market dynamics into operational actions.
• Excellent leadership and team‑development skills, capable of motivating staff in a fast‑paced environment.
• Deep appreciation for high‑end products and craftsmanship.
