Inclusion Teacher – Primary School

About the role

The Arbor School is seeking an experienced Inclusion Teacher to join its primary school team. Working under the SENDCo and Head of Thrive, you will help embed research‑driven inclusive practices and adapt curricula for a diverse learner population.

Key responsibilities

• Support the SENDCo in promoting learning and personal development of students with SEND.
• Coach and mentor teachers and staff on inclusive strategies and interventions.
• Design and modify curriculum and interventions for students with autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and physical disabilities.
• Lead action‑research projects aimed at sustainable skill development.
• Collaborate with the Inclusion Team to monitor progress and adjust practices.

Required profile

• Extensive experience working with SEND students in a primary school setting.
• Strong understanding of autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and physical disabilities.
• Ability to coach and mentor colleagues.
• Passion for inclusive education and action research.
