About the role
The Income Audit Clerk ensures financial data is accurately recorded, coded, and maintained in accordance with company policies. This role supports the finance team by preparing reports, reconciling statements, and handling invoices.
Key responsibilities
- Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
- Organize, secure, and maintain files, records, cash and cash equivalents.
- Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information.
- Maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data.
- Prepare, maintain, and distribute financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports.
- Complete period‑end closing procedures and issue bills, invoices, and account statements.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related work experience in finance or accounting.
- Ability to lift objects up to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Professional appearance and confidentiality with proprietary information.
