About the role

This position is responsible for delivering the Primary English National Curriculum to a diverse classroom in Abu Dhabi. The role involves creating an engaging learning environment and supporting students across the full ability spectrum.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare and present lessons that cover all areas of the Primary English curriculum.
  • Organise classroom resources, displays and learning materials to foster a positive atmosphere.
  • Provide targeted support and interventions for students with additional learning needs.
  • Motivate pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative teaching methods.
  • Record and evidence student work in line with the school’s marking and feedback policy.

Required profile

  • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience.
  • Associate degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction for a wide range of abilities.
