Information Security Associate (UAE National)

About the role

Equiti Group is seeking a detail‑oriented Information Security Associate to join its Dubai office. The role supports the protection of company systems, data, and infrastructure by assisting in the implementation and monitoring of security controls.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and investigate potential threats.
• Assist in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities.
• Support incident response processes and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain security tools such as SIEM, antivirus, and endpoint protection solutions.
• Participate in user access reviews and identity management.
• Support security awareness initiatives across the organization.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of experience in IT or security.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles (CIA triad, threat vectors).
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem‑solving mindset.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
