Information Security Specialist

About the role

Core42 is seeking a hands‑on Information Security Specialist to join its Abu Dhabi team. You will work on advanced security operations, focusing on Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, and a range of endpoint detection and response solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Microsoft Sentinel architectures for hybrid and multi‑cloud environments.
• Onboard telemetry from Microsoft and third‑party sources using connectors, APIs, and custom ingestion methods.
• Develop KQL analytics, detection rules, workbooks, and MITRE ATT&CK‑aligned use cases.
• Implement SOAR automation with Sentinel rules, Logic Apps, and playbooks.
• Own day‑to‑day Sentinel administration, monitoring, and health management.
• Perform incident triage, investigation, escalation, and proactive threat hunting.
• Deploy, administer, and troubleshoot CrowdStrike Falcon, Elastic EDR, and Corelight NDR.

Required profile

• 7‑8 years of cybersecurity experience in large enterprise environments.
• Deep expertise with the Microsoft Security Stack, CrowdStrike, Elastic, Corelight, Red Hat OpenShift and OpenStack security.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, threat hunting, detection engineering, and complex incident response.
