Information Technology Support Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Information Technology Support Engineer to join our on‑site team. The role involves delivering day‑to‑day IT support to project staff, ensuring that all hardware, software and network services run smoothly at the construction site.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to site employees and project teams.
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot computers, laptops, printers and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot LAN, Wi‑Fi, internet and network connectivity issues.
• Support Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, email and other business applications.
• Set up computers, user accounts and IT equipment for new employees.
• Maintain IT asset and equipment records at the project site.
• Coordinate with Head Office IT and external vendors for technical issues.
• Support CCTV, access‑control, attendance systems and other site‑specific IT systems as required.
• Maintain IT security, antivirus, backups and access controls.
• Record and follow up on IT incidents and service requests.
• Ensure all site IT equipment and systems are properly maintained and operational.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Previous experience in a construction, contracting, engineering or site environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office/Office 365, hardware and networking.
• Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced site environment.
• Experience working in the UAE is mandatory.
