Infrastructure Design Manager

About the role

Parsons is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Design Manager to lead the design team in Abu Dhabi. You will oversee the full design lifecycle, from concept through tender, ensuring high‑quality outputs that meet project objectives and regional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the infrastructure design team across all design stages.
• Manage the design process from concept to tender completion.
• Coordinate with technical excellence teams to ensure compliance with standards and guidelines.
• Develop design briefs, schedules, and delivery timelines.
• Monitor design trends, tools, and technologies to improve efficiency.
• Present design progress and solutions to clients and stakeholders.
• Implement design delivery strategies, change control, and risk mitigation.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for Project Directors and clients.
• Support project bidding activities and resource planning for upcoming projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in roads and infrastructure design.
• Strong background in design delivery within a consultancy environment.
• Excellent communication skills, including report writing and presentations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
