Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

WRITER is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to ensure its AI platform remains available, performant, and reliable 24/7. You will work on high‑impact initiatives that keep the platform resilient while supporting rapid growth in enterprise generative AI.

Key responsibilities

• Own and improve one major initiative at a time, such as on‑call posture, release pipelines, multi‑region Terraform layout, or internal platform tooling.
• Automate operational tasks and infrastructure management using Python or Go, eliminating manual on‑call work.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, fault‑tolerant infrastructure across AWS (preferred), GCP, and Azure.
• Work fluently with Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform to deliver reliable services.
• Collaborate across SRE, DevOps, and platform teams to drive reliability best practices.

Required profile

• Strong focus on solving complex systemic challenges with a hands‑on, results‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to stay heads‑down on a substantial project for weeks to months.
• Proactive attitude toward simplifying systems and removing toil.
• Comfort operating in a fast‑moving, hybrid environment across multiple global hubs.
